Norman May, Q.C.

Norman May is a mediator and arbitrator with ADR Chambers.

His areas of expertise include securities, real estate, employment, corporate and commercial, mergers and acquisitions, public financings and landlord/tenant matters.

Norman is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Bar of the Province of Quebec, and Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association. He earned his B.A. at McGill University (First Class Honors, Economics and Political Science), his M.A. (Economics) at Yale University, and his B.C.L. at McGill University, where he won the Elizabeth Torrance Gold Medal for Highest Standing.

Norman has spent many years as a teacher, specifically as Associate Professor of Law at Osgoode Hall Law School (York University) and as a sessional lecturer at the Faculty of Law at the University of Toronto and McGill University.

Norman is an active participant in the community. He is a current member of the Board of Governors of Mount Sinai Hospital and has chaired and directed various committees, foundations and private corporations.

Norman is fluent in English and French and is willing to travel. He can be reached through the Toronto office of ADR Chambers.
