He has mediated many cases for ADR Chambers, specializing in the Intellectual Property area. He specializes in disputes relating to trademarks, patent infringement, industrial design, copyright and confidential information cases.

Donald is Senior Counsel and former Managing Partner of Lang Michener and has more than 40 years of experience in commercial litigation. He participated on various committees in the firm. He is an expert in both Intellectual Property and IP Litigation and has been featured in Lexpert.

He has represented Canadian, international and multinational corporations before numerous administrative tribunals, and trial and appeal courts. He has also assisted in litigation in the United States, the U.K., France, Germany and Japan.

He is a Fellow of the Patent and Trademark Institute of Canada and is a member of the Licensing Executives Society. He is a former lecturer on insurance law at the University of Toronto Law School.
