Daniela T. Corapi

Daniela Corapi is a mediator, arbitrator and investigator with ADR Chambers.

Daniela’s areas of expertise includes insurance (Insurance Act disputes, LTD claims, employment matters, subrogation), employment, trusts and estates, commercial, and real and personal property (leases, warranties, condominiums) disputes.  She also has experience in administrative and regulatory law.

Daniela has mediated and adjudicated at a number of Ontario Tribunals, including the Condominium Management Regulatory Authority of Ontario, Home Construction Regulatory Authority, Condominium Authority Tribunal, and the License Appeal Tribunal.  She is a member of the complaints and discipline committee of the Ontario Professional Foresters Association and a hearings officer with Metrolinx. 

Prior to starting her mediation and law practice, Daniela was legal counsel and Chief Privacy Officer at Tarion Warranty Corporation from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, Daniela practiced litigation at Toronto law firms, WeirFoulds LLP and McCague Borlack LLP. 

Daniela earned her LL.B. at the University of Ottawa, M.A. in Criminology at the University of Toronto, and Honours B.A. in Criminology at York University.  She has attended the Program on Negotiation & Leadership at Harvard Law School.  Daniela volunteers her time as a Board Member and Chair of the Governance Committee at The Housing Help Centre, a non-profit agency helping people access affordable and safe market rent accommodation.

Daniela is available to conduct mediations, arbitrations and investigations in-person and via Zoom.
