Jeff is a mediator with ADR Chambers.
Jeff is a dispute resolution neutral with experience in personal injury, general liability, property and casualty and professional liability cases, as well as disputes and administrative matters relating to health professionals.
Jeff has had significant involvement in insurance matters relating to policy interpretation and coverage, and in the medical sector dealing with standards of practice, competence and patient safety issues for physicians involving regulatory concerns, government matters and hospitals.
Prior to becoming a full-time mediator, Jeff’s legal career spanned over 40 years as a litigator, with the last 17 years at a major national firm as counsel to physicians on behalf of the Canadian Medical Protective Association.
Jeff earned his Pharmacy degree (B.Sc. Phm.) from the University of Toronto, followed by his LL.B. from the University of Windsor Law School. He was called to the Bar in 1978.
Jeff has held membership in the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association, The Advocates’ Society and the Medico-Legal Society. He has also been the representative of the Faculty of Pharmacy on the University of Toronto Non-Academic Discipline Tribunal.
