Larry Lowenstein is an arbitrator and mediator with ADR Chambers.
Larry’s areas of expertise include class actions, shareholder disputes, corporate/commercial disputes, insurance, real estate and employment matters.
Prior to becoming a mediator and arbitrator, Larry was a partner with Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP handling a broad range of class action, corporate and commercial matters and was Chair of the Osler National Litigation Department. He has been counsel in a wide range of disputes at all levels of Court in Ontario and before the Ontario Securities Commission.
Larry is recognized as a leader in dispute resolution by Global Chambers: The World’s Leading Business Lawyers, Legal 500 and Benchmark Litigation Canada. He is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, The Advocates’ Society, the Canadian Bar Association and the Metropolitan Toronto Lawyers Association.
Larry earned his LL.B. from the University of Toronto, a B.A. (Juris) from the University of Oxford, and a B.A. from the University of the Witwatersrand.
