Mark Lawrence

Mark Lawrence is a mediator, arbitrator, facilitator and investigator with ADR Chambers.

Mark mediates two-party and multi-party disputes including workplace and interpersonal conflicts. He is also an investigator with the ADR Chambers Banking Ombuds Office and an alternative dispute resolution trainer with the Stitt Feld Handy Group, the training division of ADR Chambers, teaching negotiation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) courses to the public and private sectors. Mark facilitates a public complaint resolution process on behalf of the Ontario government and he has mediated in the Toronto Small Claims Court.

Mark earned his juris doctor at Osgoode Hall Law School where he studied ADR, mediation and negotiation, and earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree in Law and Business from Ryerson University. Mark also earned the Executive Certificate in Conflict Management from University of Windsor Law School.

Mark has spent many years volunteering with community organizations including Laws in Action Within Schools, Community and Legal Aid Services Program, Pro Bono Students Canada and the Ontario Justice Education Network. Mark currently volunteers with Global Medic, a charity that provides short-term rapid response to victims in the wake of disasters and crises around the world.
